Steel Fabrication
The Company
owns and operates a modern steel fabrication and hot-dip galvanizing
plant, one of the most integrated facilities of its kind in Malaysia.
The steel
fabrication and hot-dip galvanizing plant is situated at Demak Laut
Industrial Park, Kuching (formerly known as Sejingkat Industrial Park),
which covers an area of 18 acres. Our fabrication plant is one of the
most comprehensive and modernised of its type in Malaysia. The
fabrication plant is fully equipped with the high tech Computer Numeric
Controlled (CNC) machinerines aimed at enhancing precision and speed in
steel fabrication process. Sarwaja is currently one of the biggest
hot-dip galvanisers in East Malaysia.
Hot Dip Galvanising
As a steel
fabricator, Sarwaja recognises the need to prolong service life and
reduce maintenance of structural steel. Hence, we have set up our own
in-house Hot Dip Galvanizing plant to provide the anti-rust solution to
our own manufacturing requirements as well as to service the industry in
this region. Hot dip galvanizing offers a first and long term Low Cost
as this process ensures that recesses, sharp corners and inaccessible
areas are also protected when the steel sections are completely immersed
in molten zinc. With a kettle size of 10m(long) x 1.5m(wide) x
2.2m(deep), we can galvanize steel sections of up to 17 metres length.
Sarwaja Tower Testing Station
This tower
testing station is capable of full scale testing for a large variety of
structures particularly for towers and poles. Technical data of the
station is as follows:
